Kumarakom is well connected by air, rail, and road. For convenience, we recommend flying into Cochin International Airport (COK), which is approximately 75 km from Rhythm Kumarakom (around 1.5–2 hours by car). Alternatively, guests can arrive via Kottayam Railway Station, located about 16 km away (approximately 30 minutes by car). We will get in touch closer to the date to collect your travel details and assist with any necessary arrangements.

Where should we book flights to?
Cochin International Airport, Kochi, Kerala where the wedding will be taking place on the 9th, 10th and 11th.
Where should we book return flights from?
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh where the reception will be taking place on the 14th.
How do we get from Kochi to Hyderabad?

What else can we do before or after the wedding and reception?
You can arrive earlier in India to acclimatise – there are many nice beaches and resorts in Kerala, domestic flights in India are also relatively cheap, if you’d like to do the typical tourist things such as the Taj Mahal – note that this is in the north of the country (near Delhi and a 3.5hr flight from Kochi).

- 10/02: morning: shades of yellow or white
- 10/02: evening: anything that is modest
- 11/02: wedding: traditional Indian wear in pastel colours
- 14/02: reception: any sort of smart clothes dinner/cocktail party

What do I need for travel to India?
You will need an eVisa – ensure you have this at least 2 weeks before arriving in India.
